I needed a CV axle replaced in my car. I called TMS Auto and spoke with John. He scheduled the repair, and the day of the repair my husband and I brought the car in and they got it fixed and back to us in record time. We were very satisfied with the price, and both John and Scott were kind and professional. We will definitely use their services again when needed. My favorite shop by far. The gentleman are always very friendly and courteous. Good customer service goes a long way and these guys have it down!(: they were able to get my car fixed and on the road about a week sooner than initially scheduled, which I really appreciate because its mine and my boyfriends way to work. Just waiting on the wheel to come in. Overall I highly recommend them. They won't upcharge you or try to scam you. Just honest, hardworking people ❤️

Had to take my car in twice totaking around 5k. The repairs were done quick, done well, and the crew worked to make sure I was taken care of (by walking me through work done, pricing, their shuddle service, and their receptiveness to my changing needs and financial situation). My wife has been using them for years and after checking them out I must say I understand why. Additional notes: they offer payment through the phone so if you are unable to pick up the car yourself who ever you need to retrieve the vehicle will just need to pick up the keys.

This place is great! I always take my vehicle here because they are so easy to work with & go above and beyond to save you money instead of trying to take advantage of you. Today I got a flat tire on my brand new CRV after driving over a screw from construction across the road from my house. TMS repaired my tire for free. I can’t recommend them enough.

After months of trouble shooting and guess work on my end, I took my 96 Cherokee here and they figured it out within a day. The part was hard to locate but they didn't not mind or charge anything extra to leave it there for multiple weeks while we located the part and had to delivered. I was referred to TMS from a friend who had glowing reviews. I have been three times now and all three times have been great experiences from both Scott and John. 1st time - Scott helped me change a headlight, NO cost. 2nd time - had a vehicle that needed a manifold replaced. Jeep dealer quoted two weeks. Scott had it in and done in a day. Today our other car wouldn't start after a new battery was put in by a parts store. Called at 8am and they got it in and fixed plus an oil change, SAME DAY. I'm not saying or expecting same day service all the time but it has sure been nice not to be short a car. Timeliness and pricing have been more than fair. Would highly recommend.

They're honest and friendly, their prices aren't bad, and their owner has gone out of his way to help me with issues. Took in my new(er) car to this place based of the ratings from a Google. I started to hear grinding on the back brakes and also needed oil l change , and inspection. I had so many questions john took the time to answer them all (through several phone calls) and was very patient. My car was done in hours and I am happy. *also it was brought to my attention the fronts could have waited to be done but I told john to just do all 4 brakes* My point he could have lied about that and tacked on a whole bunch of other stuff.

We moved up to the Kansas City area to attend graduate school a little over four years ago. Due to the restraints of full-time student's budget, our vehicles are older models that require occasional maintenance. TMS has provided exemplary service from day one. They always provide us with options related to the necessity and priority of repairs. In nearly every case, they come in under the quoted estimate and stay within timeframe expectations; if anything unexpected arises, they quickly communicate with us. In many ways, TMS reminds us of "our garage back home," which is a blessing in and of itself. Our family strongly recommends TMS. Our most recent visit with TMS has once again exceeded our highest expectations. We needed some front-of-the-vehicle repairs due to normal wear and tear, and our rear shocks were close to needing replacement. All went well as usual; however, on our drive to church the following evening, we heard this loud sound while driving. Apparently, one of the mounts for one of the rear shocks had rusted out, which was not something TMS could have predicted in advance. I did not doubt that explanation; however, for this review's purposes, I verified this event's unpredictable nature with multiple trusted resources back home. This is important because of what TMS did in response: they repaired our vehicle at no cost. The owner spoke to us personally, gave my kids and me a ride home, and even returned our repaired vehicle personally. TMS cannot obviously give away its service and stay in business; however, it has been our experience that they do understand the need for personal transportation and are always mindful of their customers. My family and I cannot recommend TMS any higher than we have here; if you need a solid customer service-orientated garage, TMS should be your first and only stop.

I brought my car here after hearing a noise coming from one of the wheels last November. Just as I had suspected, a failed wheel bearing was the result of the noise. TMS replaced 2 wheel bearings, and a CV joint for much less than I expected to pay! They got all the work done in one day as well! We’re a 2 car household and there’s no getting around it! So getting the car back the same day was even better! Fast forward to late July/Early August and the noise has returned! I called and set up a day to drop the ride off and wait to get the call! I assumed it was one of thr 2 bearings that were still original to the car, but John called and said it was one of the ones they had replaced 9 months ago. No questions asked, it was fixed and my oil changed as requested! What a great feeling! I appreciated the hell outta that integrity and standing behind the work you do! I’m sure there are places out there that would have told me anything, just to make me pay for that job again! It’s a bit out of the way from the place I had been taking my cars, but TMS is probably going to be my regular auto mechanic moving forward.

My car stalled on the highway Friday evening, I used the after hours drop off service when the tow truck driver recommended them. they called me back after only one business day. Very honest service, they explained exactly what they saw was wrong and didn’t try to upsell me anything or give unneeded repairs and actually recommended not repairing my car due to risk of there being further damage and the age of my car. Fair prices, friendly people, and they were super flexible with my car staying there while I got a place to bring it. Highly recommend

Highly recommend TMS Auto Repair for your auto service needs. The shop we had been going to for years closed their doors. Needed my daughter’s car checked out for running bad. Ended up being a bad engine. Reasonably priced for their efforts. Also had a couple of used cars checked out. They were thorough and gave me the thumbs up or thumbs down for each car. Also willing to work with you for the needed repairs taking care of the higher priority first. Very satisfied.

My car broke down and called TMS, John answered and got my truck in same day. My alternator ended up going out causing it to stop on the highway. When I arrived the tech ended up getting the job done faster, which ended up saving me money! Highly recommend this shop, when they could have easily taken the approved amount without saying anything.
